[Argumentative essay]Do students have to go to an academy?

 Do you go to an academy? Most students these days go to academies. They go to English academy, Math academy...etc. Then I'll ask another question. Do you think it is good for students going to an academy? Many people argue about this question. 

 However, students should not go to an academy.

 First, it causes stress for many students. Students feel stress in school, and it's terrible for them to get more stress at the academy. And, they feel stress because they have to study many things and have to do a lot of homework. Sometimes it causes students to commit suicide. 

 Next, students can't do self-directed Learning at the academy. Academy teachers always teach and order students do this and that. I learned that self-studying is better than studying in an academy. But if you go to an academy, you won't be able to self-studying. 
 Third, it causes health problems for students. For example, the survey of teenagers' health problems became higher than 2005. Students these days don't exercise very well because of the academy. Students have to do homework and study. Academies make the students unhealthy.
 People who agree with going to an academy think it is good for students because they can learn more and they can improve their skills. They think academies give benefits to the students. But on the other side, people who disagree students going to an academy think academies give stress to the students. They think students learn enough in school.
I disagree students going to an academy because of these reasons.

Response essay of Movie "Brave"

 I watched the movie "Brave" last Friday night.

This movie is about a princess named "Merida".

She is a princess who is different from the other princesses. She likes to do sports, and she is a little bit grumpy. Also, she likes to do an adventure.

 When Merida grew up, her mother, the queen wants her to choose a husband from the 3 princes who came from the other clans. But, Merida doesn't want to marry a person who she doesn't love.

 But the queen says it's for her future. She wouldn't listen to her parents. So she has some trouble with her mother. She just went outside and walked and she saw the witch's house. She went inside and asked the witch that can the witch gave her the medicine for her mother to change her mind. So the witch gives her a cake which has a magical spell. But Merida used it wrong, so accidentally her mom became a bear. Merida says to her mother that she didn't plan to make her a bear. At this part, I didn't like Merida. I think she is a little bit stupid because why did she believe the witch? I mean, she doesn't know whether the witch is a believable person or not. 

 Anyway, Merida apologized to her mother and hugged her. And then, she(the queen) became a person again! 

 After watching this movie, I thought I should be good to my parents. Also, I'm happy I'm not a princess because I don't have to marry a person I don't like.

Writing an ode to my Mp3 player!

To: My dear MP3 player 

 Hello! I'm your owner Yejin Cho. Are you having a nice day?
MP3 player, I'm writing a letter to you because you are so thankful.
We first met at Christmas when I was 4th grade.
I was really happy to see you as a Christmas present.
 When I got you at first, I was always holding you and always listening to music. But when I got a smartphone, I thought I didn't need you anymore because there was also MP3 inside my phone. So you were just inside my desk for a long,long time. 
 But I think I'll have to really thank you.
First, when I was bored and had nothing to do, you gave me music to listen and made me not bored anymore. Also, while doing homework or studying, you made me concentrate. I really like you!
 And I like your design. You're not as big as other MP3 players that my friends  have. It's good that you are small because it's easy to carry and you're not heavy. At first I was a little bit embarrassed because you were small and envied my friends whose MP3 player was big.But I think the size doesn't matter!
 I am sorry, because I had thrown you many times before. You were sometimes working strange so I had to fix it. I'm so sorry...I'll never do it again.
